Edie has a sweet personality in the house and loves to be with us. She has been hunting and retrieving wild birds since she was six months old. She is also a Prize I, NAVHDA Utility dog. Smokey is a Prize II NAVHDA Utility dog. He loves to be with me every minute he is in the house. In one three day period in October 2007, Smokey had several grouse, woodcock, wild pheasants and ducks shot over him. I also guide hunts with both dogs where they have had hundreds of pheasants shot over them. This breeding will produce outstanding family/gun dogs for the foot hunter. We hunt pheasants in Iowa or South Dakota every fall.
